      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Interaction with the <b class="uiTerm">Electrode Design Manufacturing Geometry </b>feature is done using a combination of the <b class="uiTerm">Manufacturing Geometry</b> tree, <b class="uiTerm">MB3</b>, and dynamic fly-out menus. The menus allow you to add and modify manufacturing geometry at different levels of the target electrode structure as represented in the tree. 
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic"><b class="uiTerm">Manufacturing Geometry</b> allows you to assign machining attributes to target surfaces of the machined part.  Based on these attributes, CAM operations can be automatically selected during the NC programming phase of the design process.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic"> The <b class="uiTerm">Manufacturing Geometry</b> tree has three vertical columns, representing three node levels.
      </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the<b class="uiTerm"> Name </b>column is the name of the manufacturing operation.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the <b class="uiTerm">Count </b>column is the electrode count for the EDM node and the face count for each EDM node.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The <b class="uiTerm">Extract Status</b> column shows whether the faces in the node have been extracted or not.
            </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic">The function on the menus differs based on the active node level. To work with the <b class="uiTerm">Manufacturing Geometry</b> tree via the fly-out menus, do the following:
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">First Level Nodes</div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">On the<b class="uiTerm"> Electrode Design</b> toolbar, click <b class="uiTerm">Manufacturing Geometry</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">On the <b class="uiTerm">Manufacturing Geometry</b> tree, under <b class="uiTerm">Face Group</b>, select a first-level node, for example, <b class="uiTerm">EDM</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Press <b class="uiTerm">MB3 </b>to activate the fly-out menu for that node level.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">The menu contains the following options:</p>
            <ul>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">New Group</b> to generate a new sub-node. This allows you to select faces to identify new manufacturing geometry
                  </p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">Set All Colors </b>to display the standard color dialog. You can specify a color (color-code) to differentiate the manufacturing geometry
                  </p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">Delete All Groups</b> to remove all sub-node groups from the tree.
                  </p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">Sort By </b>to display the methods to sort he second level nodes:
                  </p>
                  <ul class="hangingList">
                     <li>
                        <p class="para_item">Click <b class="uiTerm">Order</b> to sort the nodes by date-time stamp.
                        </p>
                     </li>
                     <li>
                        <p class="para_item">Click <b class="uiTerm">Name</b> to sort the nodes alphabetically by name.
                        </p>
                     </li>
                     <li>
                        <p class="para_item">Click <b class="uiTerm">Count</b> to sort the nodes by item count.
                        </p>
                     </li>
                     <li>
                        <p class="para_item">Click <b class="uiTerm">Type</b> to sort the nodes Concave or Convex type.
                        </p>
                     </li>
                  </ul>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">Extract All Regions</b> to create regions of the faces in all the second-level nodes.

            </ul>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Second Level Nodes</div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">On the <b class="uiTerm">Manufacturing Geometry</b> tree, under <b class="uiTerm">Face Group</b>, select a second level node, for example, <b class="uiTerm">Electrode01</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Press <b class="uiTerm">MB3 </b>to activate the fly-out menu for the second node level.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">The menu contains the following options:</p>
            <ul>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">Set Color</b>to display the standard color dialog box and specify a color for the manufacturing geometry
                  </p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">Delete</b> to remove the node from the item count.
                  </p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">Rename </b>to rename the selected second-level item.
                  </p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">Merge</b> to merge two or more sub-nodes into one. Repeated items will be removed, different items will be added, and the Count column will be recalculated. This menu is displayed on when you select two or more sub-nodes
                  </p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">Extract Region</b> to create the region of the faces in the selected second level node.
                  </p>
               </li>
            </ul>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Third Level Nodes</div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">On the <b class="uiTerm">Manufacturing Geometry</b> tree, under <b class="uiTerm">Electrode01</b>, select a third-level node, for example, <b class="uiTerm">Group01</b>.
