      <p class="para_topic">There are two methods for creating socket head cap screws: manual and automatic. The manual method lets you select a specific length screw from an option list. The automatic method uses the PLATE_HEIGHT and MIN_ENAGE values to calculate the correct length for the screw.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Installing a Screw</div>
      <p class="para_division">Perform the following steps to install a screw:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Pick the Standard Parts button. The Standard Part Management dialog is displayed.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Pick the SHCS [Auto] or SHCS [Manual] screw.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choose the screw diameter from the SIZE pull-down menu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">(Manual screw only) Choose the LENGTH from the pull-down menu. You can change this later.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choose the ORIGIN TYPE from the pull-down menu. Refer to the illustration in the dialog for different origin types.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Set the SIDE from the pull-down menu. The SIDE option assigns a value of A or B to the MW_SIDE part attribute of the screw. The MW_SIDE part attribute is used by View Manager and Progressive Die Wizard Assembly Drawing to control visibility.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click Apply. (The PLANE placement method is assumed.)</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the placement face for the screw. Consider the ORIGIN TYPE you selected in step 5 above. The view rotates to show the selected face in the plan view, and the Point Constructor dialog is displayed. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Specify the position of the screw. You can use a known position, reset the dialog to X=0 and Y=0, or use a different positioning origin. Click OK. The Position dialog is displayed.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Pick the Drag button and move the mouse to the new location. Press MB1 to select the location. Click OK. The Point Constructor dialog is displayed.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click Cancel. The Standard Part Management dialog is displayed.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Pick the Dimension tab.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Highlight the PLATE_HEIGHT parameter in the list box.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Set the PLATE_HEIGHT parameter by one of the following three methods:</p>
            <ul>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Manual entry</p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Click the Geometric Expression Link button to link to the total thickness of plates that are clamped by the screw (not including the threaded plate).</p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Click the Interpart Expression Link button to link to the total thickness of plates that are clamped by the screw (not including the threaded plate).</p>
               </li>
            </ul>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click Apply. The screw installation is now complete.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
