From NX 3 forward, the Mold Wizard running images are separate from the Engineering database. That is, Mold Wizard running images are installed along with NX, while the Engineering database is installed on a separate Mold Wizard CD. When you prepare to install a new NX release, and you have a customized database of part files or spreadsheets, DO NOT overwrite them by installing the new Engineering database CD. Instead, set your MOLDWIZARD_DIR variable to point to your existing Engineering database folder. This will allow you to install maintenance while maintaining your customized database.
