      <p class="para_division">In some mold designs, the mold base plates will be directly used as the cavity and core instead of using inserts. There are two basic approaches to this method:</p>
      <div class="title_division">Method 1:</div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Model the cavity and core with the standard work piece as usual.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Cut insert pockets in the mold base plates.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Geometry-link the inserts to the mold base plates.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Unite the insert to the mold base plates.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Method 2:</div>
      <p class="para_division">Add required stock to the mold base plates as needed for cavity and core shape. This can be done by offsetting the parting face of the mold base plates or adjusting the AP_off and BP_off values in the Mold Base Management dialog box. </p>
      <p class="para_division">Use the work piece function to geometry-link the mold base plates and use them as cavity and core inserts. Ensure that the mold trim sheets extend far enough to trim the mold base plates.</p>
