      <p class="para_topic">Mold Wizard parting functions include methods for parting of non-solid (sheet body) models. The parting process attempts to create a solid cavity and core where possible.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">For example, if the product model has good geometry on the cavity side but geometry quality problems in the faces that form the core, a solid cavity will be produced and a sheet-body core will be produced.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">The parting process uses the following steps to create the best result possible:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Extracted regions are created for use in trimming cavity and core bodies. If the creation of regions is successful, cavity and core trims are attempted. If a cavity or core trim is successful, those processes are complete. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If a cavity or core trim fails, the region is geometry-linked to the cavity or core component and trimmed to the size of the work piece.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The trim of the regions to match the work piece may be successful or fail. In either case, the parting process is complete. </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Parting Process Parameters</div>
      <p class="para_division">The parting part contains four parameters for reporting the status of the cavity and core creation process. These parameters are not intended to be adjusted.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Create Extract Region Status</div>
      <p class="para_division">The parting process attempts to create extracted regions for the cavity and core. If the creation of extractions is successful, the split_cavity_supp and split_core_supp expression values are set to 1.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If the extractions are not successful, the split_cavity_supp and split_core_supp expressions are set to 0. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Create Cavity/Core Status</div>
      <p class="para_division">The parting process attempts to trim the core body. If it's successful, the value for split_cavity_trim or split_core_trim is set to 0 depending on the result for each case independently.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If a cavity or core trim is not successful, the region will be geometry-linked to the cavity or core part. The geometry linked region is then trimmed to the work piece size, and the value for split_cavity_trim or split_core_trim is set to 1. </p>
      <p class="para_division">If trimming the region to the work piece size fails, the value for split_cavity_trim or split_core_trim is set to 2.</p>
