      <p class="para_division">Mold Tools can be customized by adjusting the default settings contained in <b class="uiTerm">Mold Wizard Customer Defaults</b> includes an explanation for each variable and descriptions of the settings. For the preferences described in this article, and access to more specific explanations of the variables and options, see <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('moldwizard/moldwizard_defaults.html');return(false);">Setting Defaults and Preferences</a>.

      <div class="title_division">Mold Tools</div>
      <p class="para_division">In the <b class="uiTerm">Mold Tools</b> section of <b class="uiTerm">Mold Wizard Customer Defaults</b> you can:
      </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Change the default option for a non-associativity allowancce.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Change the default tolerance of the tools.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Reset the MW_ToolsBoxAllowance.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">The preferences (and their defaults) are:</p>
      <p class="para_division">MW_ToolsAllowNonAssociative: 0</p>
      <p class="para_division">MW_ToolsTolerance: 0.025</p>
      <p class="para_division">MW_ToolsBoxAllowance: 0.1 </p>
      <div class="title_division">MW_PartingMeshSurf</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Edge Patch function determines the surface construction method using the characteristics of the selected geometry. If the Edge Patch function is not able to create a parting surface with one of the preferred methods, a mesh-surface may be created. In some cases, the mesh surface is acceptable, in others it isn't.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The MW_PartingMeshSurf preference determines if a mesh surface is created or omitted.</p>
      <div class="title_division">MW_ToolsPatchFeatureNum</div>
      <p class="para_division">When patching a hole in the product model, a method called feature patch-up is sometimes used. This method creates new features in the original product model. If the original product model has a large number of features, the update processing may be time-consuming.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The MW_ToolsPatchFeatureNum preference determines the maximum number of features allowed in the original product model for feature patch to be active as a patching option.</p>
      <div class="title_division">MW_ToolsEnlargeType</div>
      <p class="para_division">When creating an enlarge surface, there are two methods by which you can extend the edges of the enlarge feature:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Linear - Extends the edges of the enlarge sheet linearly.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Natural - Extends the edges of the enlarge sheet by following the natural curve of the edges.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">The Enlarge Surface function has two types of enlarge options: Linear and Natural. The MW_ToolsEnlargeType preference specifies the different type.</p>
      <div class="title_division">MW_ToolsEnlargeMaxValue</div>
      <p class="para_division">When editing an enlarge sheet, the U/V - Min/Max sliders are used to change the size of the edges of the enlarge sheet. The default maximum value of each slider can be controlled by this value.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The MW_ToolsEnlargeMaxValue preference specifies the default maximum scale value. It should be less than 2000.</p>
