      <p class="para_topic">PDW includes a fully associative Bill of Materials (BOM) with the catalog ordering information. The parts list functionality is in the Drafting application.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Drafting Parts List</div>
      <p class="para_division">The parts list can be directly edited in the top assembly file of the die assembly. To edit the part list field layout, open the &quot;top&quot; die assembly file and start the Drafting application. The parts list layout is on drawing sheet SH1.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The parts list layout can be edited by double-clicking on any field name or on the plus sign at the origin corner.</p>
      <p class="para_division">All parts in the die assembly are listed in the diebase parts list. The data is taken from the parts list data specified in the applicable components. However, diebases, such as the standard (non-interchangeable) diebases, list only the diebase and not the standard components that are installed in the diebase by default.</p>
      <div class="title_division">BOM Record Edit</div>
      <div class="title_division">Adding User-Defined Components to the BOM</div>
      <p class="para_division">The BOM module includes functions to add a user-modeled or imported component to the parts list. While in the BOM Record Edit dialog box, select a component to be added from the NX graphics area. If the component is already listed in the BOM, the item will be highlighted, and is ready for BOM editing. If the component is not in the BOM, you are prompted to add it to the list. Add that component to the BOM by clicking Apply or OK and editing its values.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The BOM Record Edit dialog lists record information and the edit record. It contains the following fields and buttons:</p>

               <p class="para_td">The part list information is displayed in the List Window. The first line and the bottom line record field names identify each column meaning. Field name order is the same as you have sorted in the BOM Field Edit dialog box. </p>
               <p class="para_td">When you select a record, detailed record information is displayed in the text field, and the corresponding component is highlighted in the NX graphics area. When you select a standard component in the NX graphics area, the corresponding record is highlighted. If the selected component isn't in the records of the current list window, a message box prompts you to add it to the list window.</p>
               <p class="para_td">In every record, between each value field, there is a | (pipe) separator. The value of the field is shown by the proper size. When it's too long, ellipses (...) replace the end characters. When the field name length is longer than 132 characters, some field names are truncated to fit the list window.</p>

               <p class="para_td">These fields show detailed information about the record. You can edit the fields displayed except for No, QTY, and Part Name. Value of QTY and Part Name is assigned by the system.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Buttons</p>

            <td colspan="1" rowspan="1">
               <p class="para_td">The Delete button is used to delete a record in the listing window. If a component is deleted and OK or Apply is pressed, it isn't displayed in the listing window again.</p>
               <p class="para_td">The Edit Stock Size button is used to measure stock dimensions. When you select this button, the Edit Stock Size dialog is displayed and the component set to display the part.</p>
               <p class="para_td">The Export Excel button exports parts list information to an Excel file.</p>
               <p class="para_td">The Sort button has the same functionality as the NX sort function in Assembly&rarr;Parts List.</p>

      </table><br><div class="title_division">Edit Stock Size Dialog</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Edit Stock Size dialog provides two measuring methods:</p>
      <ul>

            <p class="para_item">Cylinder</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Box</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">Precision Size gives the accurate dimension of the stock. Round Size gives rounded dimensions that you can edit. When you click OK, the attribute MW_STOCK_SIZE is assigned.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">The axis orientation of cylinder stock size is always is aligned with the Z direction of WCS. The axis orientation of block stock size is always is aligned with the WCS.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Export Excel</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Export Excel button is used to export the record&nbsp;information to a Microsoft Excel file. You can edit this file. When starting Microsoft Excel, pick Start Macro. The created file has all of the functionality of standard Microsoft Excel files, including buttons for advanced functions.</p>
      <p class="para_division">You can consolidate duplicate entries and sort them in the Microsoft Excel file from the Merge_Catalog tab.</p>
