      <p class="para_topic">The <b class="uiTerm">Assign Group ID</b> function assigns a Group ID attribute to all welds in the work part. The Group ID is assigned based on the connected part combinations being joined by the weld. Each unique combination will receive a Group ID assigned using the naming convention specified by the customer in the <b class="uiTerm">Common</b> page of the <b class="uiTerm">Preferences</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Welding</b> dialog box. A unique Group ID is guaranteed within a single work part. 
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">The Tolerance value is assigned to resistance and arc spots by calculating the total number of welds within a Group and then using the ratio specified by the customer in the Preferences&rarr;Welding&rarr;Resistance spot&rarr;Pattern size menu. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Where do I find it?</div>
      <p class="para_division">Access the file selection dialog in the Modeling application by going to:</p>
      <p class="para_division"><b class="uiTerm">Insert</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Welding</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Weld Utilities</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Assign Group ID</b>.
