      <p class="para_division">The Standard Library folder structure is as follows:</p>
      <p class="para_division">$PDIEWIZARD_DIR/standard/english (or metric)/&lt;catalog &nbsp;name&gt;/&lt;part classification&gt;/model &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;parts &nbsp;</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">To avoid overwriting your libraries with subsequent releases of Progressive Die Wizard, and to more easily move your own libraries into newer versions, it is recommended that you create a new catalog name.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Customizing Standard Parts</div>
      <p class="para_division">You can customize individual standard parts, or a standard parts as &nbsp;an assembly. These procedures are described in the following sections.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Create a Standard Part</div>
      <p class="para_division">The procedure for creating a single standard part is as follows:</p>
      <p class="para_division">Step 1: Model a Standard Part</p>
      <p class="para_division">You can copy and modify a similar part from an existing standard part library or create a new part from scratch.</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Set the WCS to ABS (origin &amp; orientation). </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Create 3 datum planes from the WCS.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Create top-Z plane relative to X-Y plane by TOP_Z offsetting.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Build the part &nbsp;from the TOP_Z datum plane and adjust the position, if necessary.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Create the Sketch on the datum plane</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Create the Part body.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Create the Pocket body.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_division">Step 2: Register the Standard Part</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Pick the True body and the False body</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">&nbsp;Add Key Parameters into the Parameter List. These parameters will be displayed in both the data file and the user interface.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_division">Step 3: Create Bitmaps</p>
      <p class="para_division">You can copy a similar bitmap image from an existing standard part library and modify it, or create a new &nbsp;bitmap from scratch. You can create a bitmap image by:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">&nbsp;Scanning the image from a catalog or photograph.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">&nbsp;Drawing the &nbsp;image with a digital graphics tool.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">&nbsp;Exporting an NX image as a .bmp file.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Using a screen capture tool to capture the image and saving it as a .bmp file.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Configuring an Assembly Standard Part</div>
      <p class="para_division">The following steps describe how to create an assembly standard part using a lifter assembly &nbsp;as the example.</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Under the model folder, create a subfolder with an appropriate name (for example, stock lifter)</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the subfolder, create a new part (for example, stock_block_lifter.prt).</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Go to Standard Part Management and add the part (in this example, stock_lifter_block.prt) into (0,0,0)</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Add the SBSC Screw Set from an existing catalog.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the lifter kit example, you would add a lifter spring set from an existing catalog. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Create Expressions in the Top Part</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Create a Pocket.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Register the standard part just as you would register a single part. Make sure to pay attention to the True Body and False Body selection.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Optional: Add the new standard part into View Manager.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
