      <div class="title_division">Creating Parting Line Segments and Guidelines</div>
      <p class="para_division"><b class="uiTerm">Line Segments</b></p>
      <p class="para_division">Creating parting lines segments from a parting line loop makes the process of creating parting surfaces simpler and more efficient for complex parts. When you break the parting line loop into segments, the segments can then be used to more easily create parting surfaces. The guide lines created at the end of the parting line segments will also be used to trim the Trim and Extend and Ribbon parting surfaces in creating parting surface.</p>
      <p class="para_division"><b class="uiTerm"> Guide Lines</b></p>
      <p class="para_division"> You can create parting guide lines automatically, or you can select any of the end points on the parting lines to place a parting guide line. Initially, the system defines the direction for the guide lines. You can then modify the direction and length of the guide lines using the arrow handles at each point. </p>
