      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">Weld Preferences</b> dialog box lets you define the weld ID range, layer of weld objects and layer of weld construction geometry for Arc welds, Resistance welds and Adhesive/Sealers/Mastics. You can also specify the standards that Weld Assistant will adhere to as it creates and annotates connection features. Currently, the standards supported are ANSI/AWS A2.4-98, ISO, DIN and JIS

                  <p class="para_note_body">You can modify the Preference settings while in the process of creating a weld. The part file parameters update to reflect the latest preference settings.</p>

      <p class="para_division">Once a set of parameters is defined, all welds created subsequently adhere to these settings.</p>

      <p class="para_division">To open the <b class="uiTerm">Weld Preferences</b> dialog box, choose <b class="uiTerm">Preferences</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Welding</b>.

      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">Weld Preferences</b> dialog box has 2 tab pages:
