      <p class="para_topic">You can design runner guide strings in three ways depending upon the complexity of the runner channel, parting surface, and requirements for parametric adjustment:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Import sketch pattern</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Create curves in pre-defined shapes</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Add or remove curves from guide strings</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Import Sketch Pattern</div>
      <p class="para_division">The import sketch pattern method uses predefined parametric sketch patterns to define adjustable runner guide patterns. You select sketch patterns from the pull-down menu and import them to the runner component by clicking OK or Apply.</p>
      <p class="para_division">User-defined runner patterns may be added to the pull-down menu by creating a sketch model, a supporting spreadsheet, and a bitmap image and adding their paths to the sketch pattern register file.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The Sketch Pattern dialog contains the following toggles, options, and buttons.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Available Sketch Patterns</p>

               <p class="para_td">The Available Patterns pull-down menu lists the runner patterns contained in the runner register file. Projects using inch units have their sketches registered in the English sheet of the register file and vice versa for Metric unit projects.</p>
               <p class="para_td">To install the runner pattern at the current WCS position, select one of the sketches from the pull-down menu and click Apply.</p>

               <p class="para_td">All expressions for a selected sketch are listed in this area. Only one unique data record is found and placed in this area. You can modify the values for these expressions. Mold Wizard uses these expressions to update the corresponding sketch.</p>

               <p class="para_td">When you select an expression from the expression list, it's placed in this area for modification. You can customize any dimension for a sketch by editing the expressions.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Reposition</p>

               <p class="para_td">To edit the sketch position, click the Reposition button in the edit mode. The Reposition button becomes active after you edit an expression.</p>
               <p class="para_td">The highlighted sketch is transformed at a distance, or rotated along an axis. You can switch between the Transform and Rotate modes to reposition a sketch.</p>
               <p class="para_td">Transform</p>
               <p class="para_td">You can input the distance to transform a sketch in the X,Y,Z text fields, or drag the slider to move the standard part in the X,Y,Z directions.</p>
               <p class="para_td">You can also select the From Point to Point button. You are asked to select a from point and a destination point. The distance is displayed in the X,Y,Z fields.</p>
               <p class="para_td">Rotate</p>
               <p class="para_td">To rotate the sketch along this axis by the specified angle, select Rotate. Select the rotation axis first. The sketch is rotated along this axis by the specified angle.</p>

               <p class="para_td">To delete a highlighted sketch, choose the Delete button.</p>

      </table><br><div class="title_division">Create Curves in Predefined Shapes</div>
      <p class="para_division">To create curves in predefined shapes, pick the Curves through Points button. Then pick the Point Subfunction button which displays the Point Constructor dialog prompting you to select two points. After defining the points, you can create curves in predefined shapes.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If you have selected a curve and it is highlighted, you can reposition it, delete it, or increase the length of a line.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The Curves through Points dialog contains the following toggles, options, and buttons.</p>
