      <p class="para_topic">The Catalog tab of the Standard Parts Management System is used for selection, placement, and configuration of die components.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Catalog</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Catalog pull-down menu lists the available Standard Parts libraries. Metric libraries are available for metric Progressive Die Wizard projects initialized in metric units, and inch (English) units libraries are available for inch unit projects.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The options found in the Catalog pull-down menu are entries in the Standard Parts register file(s). You need to register catalogs in the Standard Parts library to make them available.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The variable MW_StandardCatalogOrder defines the order of the available die components. To see the results after you set the variable, pick the Standard Parts button. You can access this variable under the <b class="uiTerm">Progressive Die Wizard Defaults</b> option in the <b class="uiTerm">NX Customer Defaults </b>utility.       <div class="title_division">Parts List</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Parts List scroll window lists the components contained in the library selected in the Catalog pull-down menu. The selections found in the Parts List window are entries in the Standard Parts register file(s). </p>
      <div class="title_division">Classification</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Classification pull-down menu filters the parts in the Parts List window to display a selected type of component groups, such as die button, screw, cutting punch, etc. When you select a classification group, the Parts List window displays only components that belong to the selected group.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The default value for Classification is All Standards. In this case, all standard parts in the catalog are listed in the Parts List window.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The Parts List classification grouping is accomplished by special formatting in the Standard Parts register file(s).</p>
      <div class="title_division">Parent</div>
      <p class="para_division">The default parent part name will be set, but you can also select other parts as parents. When a standard part is added, it will be added as the child of the specified parent. You can re-specify its parent from this pull down menu. Several part file names of control nodes are in the list. When you re-select a parent, the selected part changes to the work part automatically.</p>

                        <p class="para_note_body">If the part that you want to be a parent part is not in the list, set the part as the work part before you access the Standard Parts functionality. Then the part name will appear on the list.</p>

This variable is accessed under the <b class="uiTerm">Progressive Die Wizard Customer Defaults</b> option in the <b class="uiTerm">NX Customer Defaults </b>utility.       <div class="title_division">Position</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Position pull-down menu determines the placement method for the standard part to be added. Each standard part has a default position method that is set by the POSITION definition in its controlling database spreadsheet.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Component</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Component pull-down menu is displayed when a component set has been added and is selected for editing. The purpose of the Component menu is to select a component form within an assembly of components for editing.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">This assumes that the assembly has the configuration and supporting database spreadsheets to enable editing of sub-components.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Instance/New Component</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Instance/New Component check box on the Standard Part Management dialog allows you to add multiple components of the same type as new components instead of adding them as instances of a component one at a time.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Rename Dialog</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Rename Dialog check box displays the Part Name Management dialog before loading the part. This allows you to rename the part prior to loading.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Add Modify</div>
      <p class="para_division">From the Standard Part Management dialog you can install a standard part, edit an installed standard part, or place additional installations of a standard part. When you add the first standard part to a Progressive Die Wizard project the Add Modify toggles are not displayed because there are no standard parts that can be edited or duplicated.</p>
      <p class="para_division">When installing the second (or greater) standard part, you will have the option to add an original, add an instance of an existing, or modify a standard part.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Add</div>
      <p class="para_division">If there are no existing standard parts in your project, the only possible course of action is to add a standard part. In this case, no option is provided.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If another standard part has been previously installed, the option to add or modify will appear on the dialog box.  There are two possible scenarios:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">By default, an independent instance of a component will be installed (assuming no components have been selected for editing).</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Another instance of an existing standard component may be added by selecting the existing standard component from the screen, picking the Add option and clicking the Apply button.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Modify</div>
      <p class="para_division">You can modify a standard part by selecting it from the graphics area. The Standard Part Management dialog will configure itself to the display shown the last time this component was installed or edited. You can modify any options or expressions on the Dimension tab to achieve the desired configuration.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If you change the Add Modify option to Add, you may add a component by clicking the Apply button.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Reference Set</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Reference Set option controls which reference set will be displayed for a selected Standard Part. Three options are available; Part Body (true reference set), Pocket &nbsp;Body (false reference set) and Both. The True reference set usually contains the component body, while the False reference set contains the body(s) used for mounting create pockets.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Image</div>
      <p class="para_division">The image area shows a bitmap to assist in selection and/or configuration of Standard Parts.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The image shown in this area is specified in the Standard Part Database spreadsheet for each component.</p>
      <div class="title_division">COMMENT</div>
      <p class="para_division">Instructive comments will be displayed below the image area when needed. The comments are defined in the COMMENT keyword section of the Standard Part Database spreadsheet.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If there are alterations for a certain type of Standard Part, a second bitmap is displayed when you select the alteration in the option menus.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Options</div>
      <p class="para_division">If options are formatted in the Standard Part Database, options menus will be shown in this area to allow selection of Standard Part Configuration parameters.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Edit Register File</div>
      <p class="para_division">Click the Edit Register button to open the Standard Part Register file for editing.</p>

      <p class="para_division">Click the Remove Component button to remove a highlighted standard part. The instance of the highlighted standard part will be removed, together with its linked pockets, and the part file will be closed if there are no other instances.</p>

      <p class="para_division">Component repositioning uses the standard assemblies reposition functions.</p>

      <p class="para_division">The Flip Direction button reverses the placement direction of a selected standard part.</p>
