When you select an area of interest such as a face, Wall Thickness Check calculates and displays its thickness. Any area within a solid model can be examined for wall thickness. Wall Thickness Check uses fringe and vector plots to precisely calculate the wall thickness at the desired locations on your part model. Wall Thickness Check is a component of the Molded Part Validation function.

You can directly select faces in the view, specify a thickness range, or select all faces. You can adjust the translucency of selected and non-selected faces to help you visually inspect the results. You can also change the color of the faces.
