      </table><br><p class="para_topic"><b class="uiTerm">Swap Model</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/wizards/parting_manager/swap_model.gif" border="0"> replaces the product model with a new version of the model, keeping the association between the mold design features in the mold assembly (such as tapers, split faces, parting lines, patch surfaces, parting surfaces, etc. ) and new model. This swap function is called associative swap. Use <b class="uiTerm">Swap Model</b> when product design changes occur during or after the mold design process or when the product model for mold design is translated into NX from other CAD systems. Once the product design changes to a new version, you should swap the new version for the current version used in a Mold Wizard project.

                  <p class="para_note_body">Associative swap function is only applicable for mold design projects created in NX QRM 1.0.1 release or later.</p>

      <p class="para_topic">Some parting objects cannot be fully adapted to the new model. For example, solid patches are not united to the replacement model automatically. You must create them again through the <b class="uiTerm">Parting Manager</b>.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">If the swap product procedure fails, you can use <b class="uiTerm">Suppress Parting</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/wizards/parting_manager/suppress_parting.gif" border="0"> first, then <b class="uiTerm">Make Current Feature</b> on the first feature in the parting part before the swap. After a successful swap, use <b class="uiTerm">Make Current Feature</b> on the last feature. If there are any feature update failures, you can modify them manually.
