      </table><br><p class="para_topic">To create a solid strip layout create a simulation of the scrap, layout the prepared intermediate stages by Body Family or Part Family then remove blank material. Refer to Strip Layout options for more information.</p>

            <p class="para_item">On the<b class="uiTerm">Progressive Die Wizard</b> toolbar, click <b class="uiTerm">Strip layout</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/toolbars/wizards/progressive_die_wizard/strip_layout.gif" border="0">.

            <p class="para_item">In the <b class="uiTerm">Strip Layout</b> dialog box, click the <b class="uiTerm">Initialization</b> tab. 
            </p>
         </li>

            <p class="para_item">Specify the material feeding direction by clicking either <b class="uiTerm">From Right to Left</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/wizards/strip_layout/from_right_to_left.gif" border="0">, or <b class="uiTerm">From Left to Right</b><img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/wizards/strip_layout/from_left_to_right.gif" border="0">.

            <p class="para_item">From the <b class="uiTerm">Total Station</b> list, select the number of stations.
            </p>
         </li>

            <p class="para_item">From the <b class="uiTerm">Parts per Station</b> list, select the number of parts per station.

            <p class="para_item">(Optional) Select Preferences.</p>

                  <p class="para_item">In the <b class="uiTerm">View Control</b> group, select the options you want to display in the graphics window. The graphics window updates as you select and clear the check boxes.

                  <p class="para_item">In the <b class="uiTerm">Sort Process</b> group, click <b class="uiTerm">By Station</b> or <b class="uiTerm">By Operation</b>.

               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Select the <b class="uiTerm">Check Process Feature Relationship</b> check box to turn the Checker on.
                  </p>
               </li>

            <p class="para_item">Click <b class="uiTerm">Apply</b> to generate a strip layout boundary and retrieve upstream design information automatically.

            <p class="para_item">In the <b class="uiTerm">Strip Layout</b> dialog box, click the <b class="uiTerm">Process</b> tab

            <p class="para_item">Highlight one or more features from the <b class="uiTerm">Process Feature Name</b> list.

            <p class="para_item">Select the station number from the <b class="uiTerm">Station</b> list, then click <b class="uiTerm">Layout</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/wizards/strip_layout/layout.gif" border="0"> to apply the setting and move the specified processes to the lower window.

                  <p class="para_note_body">The following steps create a visual simulation of the laid out strip; they are optional for the die design.</p>

            <p class="para_item">In the <b class="uiTerm">Strip Layout</b> dialog box, click the <b class="uiTerm">Simulation</b> tab.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a Type from the list.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the <b class="uiTerm">Mode</b> group, choose the simulation method you want to create.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click <b class="uiTerm">Start Simulation</b> to create the simulation, or <b class="uiTerm">Clear Simulation</b> to revert back to the sheet metal part.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">To display all bodies in current sheet metal part, click<b class="uiTerm"> Show All</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
