      <p class="para_topic">The Mold Wizard initialization process creates an assembly structure for associative modeling of cavities and cores.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Assembly Structure</div>
      <p class="para_division">The assembly structure represented in the following table shows the component relationships for a part named part_1.prt.</p>

      </table><br><div class="title_division">The Prod (product) Node</div>
      <p class="para_division">The prod node contains all of the components for creation of molding components (such as cavity and core) for part_1. Family molds have a separate prod node for each family member. The purpose of each component under the prod node is as follows:</p>
      <div class="title_division">The Product Model</div>
      <p class="para_division">The product model file, part_1, is located under the prod node. The product model is an assembly instance of the product model in its original location on your file system. (This is the original product model, not a copy.)</p>
      <div class="title_division">The Molding Part</div>
      <p class="para_division">The molding part file, part_1_molding, contains a geometry-linked copy of the original product model. The geometry link was created automatically during the project initialization process. The product solid wave link path is: </p>
      <p class="para_division">original product part &rarr; molding part &rarr; shrink part &rarr; parting part</p>
      <p class="para_division">When the original product is needed to add molding features (such as tapers, split faces, edge blend, etc.) to make the product moldable, those molding features can be added in this molding part. The advantages of adding molding features in molding part are:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Molding features aren't affected by shrinkage (scale feature) changes.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">When a new product version is swapped by the Parting &rarr; Swap Product Model function, fully association is kept even if the original product is translated from another CAD system.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">The Shrink Part</div>
      <p class="para_division">The shrink-part file, part_1_shrink, contains a geometry-linked copy of the original product model linked body in the molding part file. The geometry link was created automatically during the project initialization process.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The geometry-linked copy of the original product model has a scale feature added to it with a default value of 1.0. When the Shrinkage function is applied, this scale feature is edited.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The position of the geometry-linked copy of the product model in the shrink part is controlled with the Mold CSYS function. You must perform the Mold CSYS function from the product node (part_1_prod).</p>
      <div class="title_division">The Parting Part</div>
      <p class="para_division">The parting part contains the work piece body that is used to define the cavity and core. The structure represented in the following table shows the part features:</p>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">UM_PROD_BODY(0) is a geometry-linked copy of the shrink part. Isolating the parting operations from the shrink part provides an unaltered shrunk model for inspection purposes.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">UDO_workpiece(1) is the foundation for the work piece X and Y dimensions. These dimensions are controlled by the work piece function.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">WORK_PIECE_SWEEP(2) defines the height of the work piece body feature based on the X-Y shape of UDO_workpiece(1) and the vertical parameters set in the Work Piece Dimensions dialog box. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">CAVITY_SEED_SHEET(3) is extracted from the positive Y face of WORK_PIECE_SWEEP(2).</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">CAVITY_SEED_DATUM(4) is an offset datum (with 0.0 offset value) from the CAVITY_SEED_SHEET(3).</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">UM_CAVITY_BLOCK(7) and UM_CORE_BLOCK(8) are extracted copies of WORK_PIECE_SWEEP(2). These block bodies are not altered by any parting functions. Their purpose is to act as parents to the geometry-linked bodies located in the cavity and core components.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">UM_CAVITY_BLOCK(7) and UM_CORE_BLOCK(8) are created separately in this file so that different bodies can be used to define the cavity or core individually. For example, if the mold design requires a cylindrical shaped core insert rather than a block, you can change the parent of the UM_CORE_BLOCK(8) to an alternative body. </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">Alternative work piece bodies may be geometry-linked from a work piece component, modeled in the parting part, imported, or created with UDFs. You can select the desired work piece as the core insert from the Work Piece Dimensions dialog by picking toggling on Core Only and following the dialog cues.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Core and Cavity Parts</div>
      <p class="para_division">The core and cavity parts use the same feature methods. As an example, the cavity part is described:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">CAVITY_BODY(0) is a geometry-linked copy of UM_CAVITY_BLOCK(8) from the parting part.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">CAVITY_SURFACE(1) is a geometry-linked copy of CAVITY_SEED_SHEET(3).</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">CAVITY_TRIM(2) is a trim feature that, by default, is suppressed by expression. This feature becomes the final trim feature that defines the molding and parting surfaces of the cavity block.</p>
         </li>
