      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Just to show how things work, lets export the NX parts we just created with the IGES import function (of course this means you need to wait until the translation is completed).</p>
      <p class="para_topic">To do this, first use the <b class="uiTerm">File</b> menu to change the direction.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">Selecting <b class="uiTerm">Export</b> clears the lists on the main dialog box.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">Now, just as in the <b class="uiTerm">Import</b> function, use the <b class="uiTerm">Select Files to Translate</b> button to select the files to <b class="uiTerm">Export</b> in the <b class="uiTerm">Export</b> frame.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">After selecting the files, the main dialog box updates.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">One file thing to try during this getting started example is to change a setting that controls how the export of the part files will be done.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">You use the <b class="uiTerm">Settings</b> button  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/set_icon.gif" border="0"> to bring up the <b class="uiTerm">IGES Export Settings</b> dialog box.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">Select the <b class="uiTerm">Advanced</b> tab to get to the option to change &ndash; the <b class="uiTerm">Coincident Point Resolution</b> the receiving system should use. Specify a tolerance of .009.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">We then select <b class="uiTerm">OK</b> and return to the main dialog box.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">Since we will be sending files to this supplier on a regular basis, we want to save this setting change so that we don't have to remember it each and every time we run.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">To do this select <b class="uiTerm">File&rarr;Save As</b> from the menu. This brings up a standard file dialog box and saves all of the current settings to the file name we provide. Note that you do not have to save the changed settings to have them affect the translation. You can launch the translator using the button, and all of the current settings are used for that particular translation.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">Once we have saved the file, note that the name of the current <b class="uiTerm">Settings File</b> (in the lower left corner of the main dialog box updates.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">In the future, when we start the IGES user interface, we can use the <b class="uiTerm">Open Settings File</b> button (the  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/open_icon.gif" border="0"> on the menu bar) or <b class="uiTerm">Open</b> from the <b class="uiTerm">File</b> menu to retrieve these saved settings.
