NX dimensions and most drafting aids (except for assorted parts) must be associated to the dimensioned geometry. To resolve this discrepancy, the IGES <b class="uiTerm">Postprocessor</b> will attempt to create underlying geometry for the NX dimensions to be associated with. This geometry is shown and is placed in the group, BLANKED_ASSOCIATIVITY_GEOMETRY. This group can be deleted with no loss of dimensions or drafting aids, as long as the <b class="uiTerm">Retain Annotations Drafting Preference</b> is set. The user will need to reassociate the dimensions or drafting aids to their original geometric objects in order to regain full edit capability of the dimensions and drafting aid.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td">If the <b class="uiTerm">Postprocessor</b> can not create the correct dimension or drafting aid, due to incomplete IGES entity information, it will create and assorted part dimension or drafting aid.
               </p>

If that sub-figure instance owns another sub-figure instance, the data will be brought in as an instance &ndash; but it will not be scaled. NX does not support the scaling of components. In this case, a warning message is given.</p>
