      <p class="para_topic">The CATIA V4 user interface will look for the settings file catiav4.def in the local directory. If the system finds the settings file, its contents will be used as the initial settings of the user interface. If no local file is found, then the settings file provided with the installation &ndash; UGII_BASE_DIR\ugcatiav\catiav4.def will be used. This file is distributed with user interface options set to what are general considered the most appropriate values.</p>
      <div class="title_division">CATIA 4 import general settings</div>
      <p class="para_division"><b class="uiTerm">Units</b>: You can choose the units of the output part in CATIA V4 translation. Millimeters will be default units of NX part file. If you want the part units to be in inches then you can select the <b class="uiTerm">Inches</b> button.

      <div class="title_division">CATIA 4 export general settings</div>
      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">Assembly Options</b> let you specify whether to use the load_options.def file or you can specify options that will apply to the translation. You may not want to export all of the components and these options allow you to control the export operation. The default is to use the NX load_options.def. You can specify your search directories and versions.
