      </table><br><p class="para_topic">You can choose any existing part file as a translation source using the file selection dialog box, which displays when using this option. The name of the currently selected part file displays beneath the <b class="uiTerm">Choose Part</b> button.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Drawing Selection</div>
      <p class="para_division"><b class="uiTerm">Drawing Selection</b> allows you to export entire drawings from parts in an assembly or within a single part file. This provides functionality similar to that provided from <b class="uiTerm">File&rarr;Export&rarr;Part</b>.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division"><b class="uiTerm">Drawing Selection</b> is available for currently loaded parts and for parts selected using the <b class="uiTerm">Existing Part</b> option. When you choose the <b class="uiTerm">Drawing Selection</b> option, a <b class="uiTerm">Drawings to Export</b> dialog box displays allowing you to choose the drawings you wish to export. When a drawing copies, all view dependent geometry and associated annotations are also copied where possible.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">Drawings</b> group title is on the <b class="uiTerm">Data to Export</b> tab page and has a paid of buttons to select from: <b class="uiTerm">All Drawings</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Select Drawings</b>. When the <b class="uiTerm">Select Drawings</b> button is checked a multi select list box is activated listing the <b class="uiTerm">All Drawing</b> names in the part.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">Some items to be aware of when exporting drawings include the following:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">A section view parent view that exists on a drawing without its associated child view will lose its section line when the drawing exports. To avoid this condition, section views and their parent views that exist on different drawing sheets in the original part file should have their drawings exported simultaneously.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If a section view detail view exists on a drawing without its parent view, it will not copy during drawing export. To avoid this condition, section view details and their parent views that exist on different drawing sheets in the original part file should have their drawings exported simultaneously.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Export To (translator name) File</div>
      <p class="para_division">The name of this option varies depending on the translator type you are using (<b class="uiTerm">Specify IGES File</b> for IGES, <b class="uiTerm">Specify Part 21</b> for STEP AP203 and STEP AP214, <b class="uiTerm">Specify DXF/DWG File</b> for DXF/DWG.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">Use this option to specify the output name for the translation. By default, this option is set to the work part name, with an abbreviation of the translator type used for the file extension (current.igs for IGES, current.stp for STEP, current.dxf for DXF/DWG and current .prt. Use the file selection dialog box to export to a new file or an existing file. In the case of DXF/DWG you have the ability to change the output file type from current.dxf to current.dwg by changing the <b class="uiTerm">Files of Type</b> from dxf to dwg.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Load Settings File</div>
      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">Settings File</b> is initially set to the standard settings (.def) file required for running preprocessor jobs (such as igesexport.def or step203ug.def). You can change the settings file by using the <b class="uiTerm">Load Settings File</b> option. The standard NX file selection dialog box will display allowing you to choose the directory and file you wish to use as your settings file for this particular translation.
