      </table><br><div class="title_division">Assembly load options</div>
      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">a=</b> label can be used to specify an assembly load options file. With it, you can control the translator's assembly and components' behavior. The file gives you control over where to look for components, whether to continue processing when a referenced component is missing, and so on.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">The translator will use the file specified with the <b class="uiTerm">a=</b> option. In lieu of that, the file specified with the ASSEM_OPTIONS keyword in a <b class="uiTerm">d=</b> specified user&ndash;defined settings file is used. In lieu of that, the file specified by the environment variable UGII_LOAD_OPTIONS is used. &nbsp;here are no restrictions on how the files are named.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">If a file is not provided explicitly, the translator will look for the file load_options.def, in the directory specified by the environment variable UGII_LOAD_OPTIONS. If not found there, it will look in the directory the translator is running from (which is the current directory).</p>

      <div class="title_division"> System log file</div>
      <p class="para_division">Each 2D Exchange session generates a username####'.system log (syslog) file in the directory defined by the environment variable UGII_TMP_DIR. NX only retains the syslog if a problem occurs during the translation. If submitting an incident report, be sure to include the syslog with the description of the problem.</p>
      <div class="title_division"> Command line examples</div>
      <p class="para_division">You can start the translator on a UNIX system from the NX Activity menu by selecting UGADMIN (Administration Utilities), then UNIX SHELL (Start UNIX Subshell) with a variety of command line options as shown below:</p>
      <p class="para_division">The following converts the current drawing (or the current view, if the part does not contain a drawing) and creates sample_2d.prt and sample_2d.log in the current working directory.</p>
      <p class="para_division">$UGII_BASE_DIR/ugto2d/ugto2d i = sample.prt</p>
      <p class="para_division">The following converts sample.prt's RIGHT modeling view. &nbsp;It outputs flat_sample.prt and backup_run.log.</p>
      <p class="para_division">$UGII_BASE_DIR/ugto2d/ugto2d view = RIGHT i = sample.prt o = flat_sample.prt l = backup_run.log</p>
      <p class="para_division">The following converts drawing PROD_1 of input part sample.prt. The m = <b class="uiTerm">Modeling</b> option causes output to end up displayed in the TOP view in <b class="uiTerm">Modeling</b>:

      <p class="para_division">The following converts input part sample.prt. The d = <b class="uiTerm">Drafting</b> option causes the current drawing and its member views to process. The translator projects visible objects into the respective drafting views and makes them view&ndash;dependant.

      <p class="para_division">The following uses every available option. &nbsp;The input, output, log, setting, and load option files are all explicitly given. The <b class="uiTerm">Output As</b> mode is set to drafting, and the drawing to translate is SH3.
