      </table><br><p class="para_topic">The system sets a default log file name for the selected translator. If you do not specify a translator file the message: &ldquo;No log file specified&rdquo; appears. After you specify a translator file, the log file name becomes by default the name of the translator output file name, with a .log extension. You can change the default log file name to a different name using the <b class="uiTerm">Usage Notes</b> option.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Running the Translation</div>
      <p class="para_division">Selecting <b class="uiTerm">OK</b> from the translator dialog box submits a command line translation, with all current settings to begin in batch mode. You will receive batch job results via e&ndash;mail.

                  <p class="para_note_body">An attempt to translate using the <b class="uiTerm">Choose Part</b> option when the specified part is open and modified will result in a dialog box asking whether to <b class="uiTerm">Save and Continue</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Continue without Saving</b>, or <b class="uiTerm">Cancel Translation</b>.

      <div class="title_division">Usage Notes</div>
      <p class="para_division">If you encounter an error while attempting to get a unique filename for the translator script file, the following error message displays:</p>
      <p class="para_division">Error generating a unique file name for script.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If exporting objects specified through <b class="uiTerm">Class Selection</b>, the interface exports the objects to an intermediate part in the UGII_TMP_DIR. This file is used as the input file for the translator. If you encounter an error while attempting to export class selected objects, the following error message displays:
      </p><pre class="indent">Error Exporting Class Selected Objects to part.</pre><p class="para_division">Check the temp directory and check to see if it contains a sufficient amount of space to write the file.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If you encounter an error while attempting to write the translator script file that is used to run the command line translation, the following error message displays:</p><pre class="indent">Cannot open script file.</pre><p class="para_division">Check the temp. directory and check to see if it contains disk space to create a new file.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If you encounter an error while attempting to spawn the translation, the following error message displays:</p><pre class="indent">Error spawning translation.</pre><p class="para_division">The script file and any intermediate parts remove from the UGII_TMP_DIR upon translator completion.</p>
