      <p class="para_topic">You can specify a model reference set in the NX customer defaults file that defines what the actual model geometry is, versus reference or construction geometry (this is applicable to the entire installation). By doing this, reference and construction geometry is excluded from the model reference set and does not get translated into JT files.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">For example, the default setting for the model reference set is &quot;part.&quot; When a part is translated, a single file is generated for the part. If the part being translated has a model reference set, only the translatable geometry (solids, sheets, disassociated facets, curves, or points) in the model reference set is translated.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">If the part does not have a model reference set defined, the solids, sheets, and disassociated facets in the part are translated, but not the curves and points.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">If no translatable geometry is found in a part being translated, no JT file is produced.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Additional model reference sets</div>
      <p class="para_division">You can translate parts into multiple, separate JT files. This is useful when you have multiple models in a single part file, for example, when you have left and right hand parts in the same part file. To do this, use the Assemblies_AdditionalModelRefSets setting in the NX customer defaults file.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If a reference set is not mentioned as the Assemblies_ModelReferenceSet or one of the Assemblies_AdditionalModelRefSets, then a JT file is not produced for that reference set and is not included in the assembly produced by ugtopv.</p>
