You can use the ugtopv command line translator to create JT files. ugtopv provides more flexibility in customizing your output and is useful for generating batch JT files. You can operate ugtopv directly from the NX installation without running NX. This translator is located in the "pvtrans" directory in the NX installation. You can access brief help information by running ugtopv with the
-help
or
-examples
options. For example,
ugtopv -help
or
ugtopv -examples
.

You can also run the older ugtojt translator from the command line for translating NX part files to the JT format. The ugtojt translator is an external program, separate from the ugtopv translator. You can access brief help information by running ugtopv with the
-help
option.
