If you are translating a .prt file containing references to component .prt files, the visibility state of the individual objects in the component . prt files does not matter. All the objects in the reference set specified for each component file are translated regardless of their visibility state within the component files. The exception is when you use the translation by layers option. In this case, the objects in specified layers are translated regardless of their visibility state in the component files.
