      <p class="para_topic">When NX part files are translated using the ugtopv translator, or from within NX using the part save, the JT files are always created in the same directory as the part file they represent. This is true unless the -force_output_output option in the ugtopv translator is used to redirect the output files.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">For translation of NX parts, if the part file is named &quot;partfile.prt,&quot; the JT file produced is named &quot;partfile_[refsetname].jt. For example, if the part file is /parts/released/engine.prt and its model reference set is &quot;PART,&quot; the JT file generated is /parts/released/engine_PART.jt.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">It is important that you do not rename or move the JT files produced by this method so they can be located and reused appropriately by NX or related software. Some cases where existing JT files are reused are:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">When using <b class="uiTerm">File</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Interoperate</b> within NX, if the in-session part is not modified.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">When importing the part into Teamcenter Engineering, the JT files are automatically imported, if they can be located.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>

                  <p class="para_note_body">For an assembly containing part family members, it is recommended that you import the template first, and then generate the members and their associated JT files, before importing the main assembly.</p>
