      <p class="para_topic">The <b class="uiTerm">Profile Flange</b> feature allows you to create a flange with multiple bends by specifying a section profile/side view.&nbsp;It will also allow you to edit the <b class="uiTerm">Web Profile</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Top/Flat Pattern</b> view. This is a productivity improvement tool with an easy&ndash;to&ndash;use interface. We will construct a solid body that will wrap around the bodies shown in the figure below. If you wish to do this is <b class="uiTerm">Master Model Mode</b>, you can create the solid body in a separate part file.
      </p>

            <p class="para_item">Select the base edge. The figure below shows you which edge to select.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Create the sketch curves that will extrude the length of the bend edge to create the profile flange. This profile flange will consist of multiple bends.&nbsp;Fillet creation is optional. &nbsp;If you do not create the fillets the size of the bends will be determined by the radius value in the <b class="uiTerm">Options</b> dialog box.

            <p class="para_item">The sketch created has inside corners: 1, 2, and 4 and outside corners 3 and 5.&nbsp;Lines 2, 4 and 6 are constructed so that when the sketch is extruded the solid will be touching the adjacent wall of the solid body. When you have constructed all of the curves in the sketch to your specifications, exit the sketch, which will cause the sketch to extrude along the bend edge. The width of the extrusion will be the default of <b class="uiTerm">Infer from Edge</b>.&nbsp;The extrusion will create a sheet body at this point. If you select any option other than <b class="uiTerm">Cancel</b>, the solid body creation occurs. See the figure below.

            <p class="para_item">Now we will blend the two sharp corners of the profile flange by selecting <b class="uiTerm">Web Profile</b>. When you select this option your view will change to the web profile sketch. The web profile sketch is a derived sketch from the section profile sketch and the width option you use, which in this example is <b class="uiTerm">Infer from Edge</b>. The figure below shows the state of the model after selecting the web profile option.&nbsp;We will blend the two sharp corners at the top of the diagram below (marked with small white squares).

      <p class="para_topic">The next step will show you how to create a hole in the <b class="uiTerm">Profile Flange</b> feature that is referencing a hole in the solid body.&nbsp;Below is a sample tree listing of profile bends in the <b class="uiTerm">Profile Flange Edit Bends</b> dialog box.

            <p class="para_item">Select the PROFILE_BEND_03 node then select the edge of the hole that is on the solid body. A sample of this selection appears below.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Next select <b class="uiTerm">OK</b>. You will now be in the web profile sketch again. &nbsp;While in the web profile sketch, convert the extracted arc from a reference curve to an active curve. The figure below shows the model after converting the curve.
