      </table><br><div class="title_division">Infer thickness</div>
      <p class="para_division">Set this option if you want the system to infer the thickness of the general flange from the selected geometry. The system will sample the thickness at one point on the tangent faces. It will assume uniform thickness.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If this option is off, the <b class="uiTerm">Thickness</b> box appears on the main dialog box where you can enter a valid expression.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Infer spine</div>
      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">Infer Spine</b> option enables the system to generate a spine that will be usable for the given input data. The spine will create internally only &ndash; it will not be saved. If the user has explicitly selected a spine, the system will attempt to use it as is, regardless of the setting of this option. The system will create this curve using following approaches:
      </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Bend edges that have a high degree of concavity can be problematic, since they can often yield self&ndash;intersecting surfaces. <b class="uiTerm">Infer Spine</b> will attempt to generate a spine by smoothing out the bend edge. Note that this will change the shape of the general flange by making it spread out more. This technique is used by <b class="uiTerm">Parameters</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Build to Sections</b> methods only (see the figure below).
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If the creation mode is <b class="uiTerm">Build to Sections</b>, the <b class="uiTerm">Infer Spine</b> option will cause the system to generate a spine that is normal to all selected section curves.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If the creation mode is <b class="uiTerm">Punch Vector</b> the system will project the bend edge to a plane that is normal to the punch vector. It will further apply the smoothing algorithms to reduce the amount of concavity.
            </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">Infer Spine</b> setting will be used in all states of the general flange (formed, unformed, or intermediate).
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">The figure below shows a general flange with a concave bend edge. The spine will adjust as shown.</p>
