      <p class="para_topic">Use the <b class="uiTerm">Form/Unform</b> dialog box to form or unform self&ndash;forming features without the need to switch to the Sheet Metal Features and Forming/Flattening application. You can use this operation when you want to quickly form or unform sheet metal features, but you don't need to create the intermediate states or sequences.

      <p class="para_topic">You can access this operation from <b class="uiTerm">Modeling&rarr;Insert&rarr;Sheet Metal Feature&rarr;Form/Unform</b> or from the <b class="uiTerm">Sheet Metal Feature</b> toolbar.

               <p class="para_td">Self&ndash;Forming Feature</p>

               <p class="para_td">A Sheet Metal feature that forms and unforms its own geometry by changing its state. &nbsp;Currently, this includes the flange, inset flange, profile flange, multibend bracket, general flange, bridge and bend.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Setting a self&ndash;forming feature to the shape it has before any bending or forming has been done to it. For example, the straight brake flange is flat before it is formed.</p>

      </table><br><div class="title_division">Procedure</div>
      <p class="para_division">The steps for forming or unforming a Sheet Metal feature are:</p>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a self&ndash;forming feature either in the graphics window or from the list window in the <b class="uiTerm">Form/Unform</b> dialog box.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choose the operation you would like to perform such as <b class="uiTerm">Form Selected Features</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Unform Selected Features</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Alternatively, you can choose <b class="uiTerm">Form All</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Unform All</b> to perform an operation on all self&ndash;forming features in the part.
