      </table><br><p class="para_topic">In addition to the normal curves that create for the flat pattern, you may select additional curves, edges, or points to appear in the flat pattern. The objects selected project to the body, if necessary, and flattened. The resulting curve or point then appears in the flat pattern at the location where the faces flattened.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">If you have the additional curve that span across several faces be sure to project this curve first.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">If an additional curve does not normally project onto a face, the curve will not map to the closest points on the faces defining the flat pattern. For example, the center of a hole will project to the perimeter of the hole.</p>

      <p class="para_topic">If you wish to include <b class="uiTerm">Contour Lines</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Mold Lines</b>, or <b class="uiTerm">Form Block Lines</b> in your flat pattern, you must first create these reference lines on the features. Choose <b class="uiTerm">Application&rarr;Modeling</b> and edit the flanges that require reference lines. After the system creates these lines, you can choose <b class="uiTerm">Application&rarr;Sheet Metal&rarr;Design&rarr;Tools&rarr;Flat Pattern</b>. Select the reference lines as <b class="uiTerm">Additional Curves</b>.

      <p class="para_topic">If you have a <b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b> in its unformed state on faces that are flattened, the curves representing the unformed solid punch will automatically be selected as additional curves of the flat pattern.
