      </table><br><p class="para_topic">To create a profile flange feature, perform the following steps:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select an edge to attach the profile flange to. This selection is similar to the edge selection for the <b class="uiTerm">Flange</b> feature.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Once an edge is selected, the attachment face and thickness of the profile flange will be inferred and you will be taken to the <b class="uiTerm">Sketcher</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Define a section profile starting from the end point of the edge that is closer to the pick on the edge. You should see a datum plane centered at that point. You should also be able to use a point created at the start point.</p>
            <ul>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">The sketch must start at the location of the profile flange start point. When you create the profile sketch the WCS will be at the <b class="uiTerm">Start Point</b>. It is strongly recommend that you constrain the sketch to the start point. This is not required for construction, but edits to the parent body of the profile flange could cause the profile flange to fail on update, because the parent body has moved and the sketch could not follow.
                  </p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">If the sketch contains an arc as the first entity the arc must be tangent to the datum axis that creates after you select the bend edge. If this tangency is not defined an additional arc will be created.</p>
               </li>
            </ul>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Define the section profile and select <b class="uiTerm">Finish</b>. You will return to the <b class="uiTerm">Profile Flange</b> dialog box.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Define the width of the profile flange using the four options available. The default option is <b class="uiTerm">Infer from Edge</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you want to edit the <b class="uiTerm">Web Profile</b>, select <b class="uiTerm">Web Profile</b>. You will be taken back to the <b class="uiTerm">Sketcher</b> but this time you will be allowed to edit the top view of the profile flange. Make any changes necessary.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">After you are finished editing the web profile, select <b class="uiTerm">Finish</b> and you will return to the <b class="uiTerm">Profile Flange</b> dialog box.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select <b class="uiTerm">Apply</b> or <b class="uiTerm">OK</b> to build the profile flange.
            </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic">You can edit the profile flange by changing the sides of the profile flange or adding bends to the side of the profile flange.</p>

      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">Profile Flange</b> dialog box includes selection steps. It is unique in that there is only one step (which has no bitmap). You are allowed to select linear edges from planar faces.       <div class="title_division">Selection</div>
      <p class="para_division">You will be allowed to select linear edges from a planar face. The pick point on the edge determines which end point of the edge is considered the start point of the profile flange. You should see a point at the start point and a temporary display of <b class="uiTerm">Start Point</b> label next to the point.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">You should always see a <b class="uiTerm">Start Point</b> label at the end point closer to the pick point on the edge and an <b class="uiTerm">End Point</b> label close to the other end. Since this is temporary display, any refresh will cause these labels to be erased.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">Once the edge is selected, you should see a datum plane with origin at the start point and normal along the selected edge. There should also be a datum axis in the plane of the datum plane and along the normal to the attachment face.</p>
