            <p class="para_item">Click<img align="bottom" src="graphics/flange.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Aerospace Flange</b> on the <b class="uiTerm">Aerospace Sheet Metal</b> toolbar.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">Select the <b class="uiTerm">Aerospace Flange</b> type: <img align="bottom" src="graphics/by_value.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">By Value</b>, or <img align="bottom" src="graphics/to_ref.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">To Reference</b>.

            <p class="para_item">Select edge(s) <img align="bottom" src="graphics/select_edge.gif" border="0"> to which you want to add a flange. If you pick the top edge, the flange will default to up; if you pick the bottom edge, the flange will point down as shown in the next step. To reverse the direction, double click on the length drag handles.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">Define flange by values.</p>
            <p class="para_item">To define the flange length: pull the length arrow to the desired length, or enter the length in the dynamic input box. Double click on the arrow to flip the direction of the flange.</p>
            <p class="para_item">To define the flange angle: grab and rotate the angle ball, or enter the angle in the dynamic input box.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Once the desired values are defined, the flange can be created by selecting <b class="uiTerm">OK</b> on the dialog box.

            <p class="para_item">Optionally, define flange by selecting face or datum place.</p>
            <p class="para_item">When a <b class="uiTerm">To Reference</b> flange is selected (in Step 2) an extra selection step is added.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Select Reference Geometry</b> <b class="uiTerm">Select Face(s)</b> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/select_face.gif" border="0"> &ndash; To pick a reference face or datum plane activate the <b class="uiTerm">Select Reference Geometry</b> option and then pick the desired face or datum plane.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">The selected face will determine the angle of the flange. You can define the length by dragging the length handle or by entering the length into the length dynamic input box.</p>
            <p class="para_item">To see the flange before it is created, check the <b class="uiTerm">Enable Preview</b> box.

            <p class="para_item">To flip the direction of the flange, double click the length handle.</p>

            <p class="para_item">To let the face define the length of the flange, use the <b class="uiTerm">Infer</b> option on the length parameter. This option is found on the <b class="uiTerm">Flange</b> dialog box or by right-clicking the length handle as shown in the next image.

            <p class="para_item">Define flange ends.</p><br><p align="left"><img align="bottom" src="graphics/flange_ends.gif"></p>
            <p class="para_item">By default, the ends of the flange are assumed to be limited by planes that are normal to the ends of the selected base edge. To align the start or end of the flange to a specific datum plane, first activate the first or second <b class="uiTerm">Inferred Plan</b> selection step or pick the start or end handles. Then select or define the desired datum plane.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">The selected end of the flange will now be trimmed or extended to the selected datum plane. To return the end to its original position, deselect the datum plane.</p>
