      </table><br><pre class="indent">Tool body completely outside target.</pre><p class="para_topic">You will get this error message while unforming a flange that is not fully constrained using <b class="uiTerm">Relative Positioning</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Orientation (RPO)</b>. You will only get this message if the unconstrained flange is attached to another flange. When the parent flange is unformed, the unconstrained flange doesn't follow the unformed parent flange. Therefore, it ends up completely outside the target body when the unconstrained flange tries to unite.
      </p><pre class="indent">Thickness must be greater than zero.
Width must be greater than zero.
Radius must be greater than zero.</pre><p class="para_topic">These parameters must be positive numbers.</p><pre class="indent">Length must be positive.</pre><p class="para_topic">The length of the flange can be zero or greater, but it can't be negative.</p><pre class="indent">Taper angle cannot exceed 90&deg;.
Miter angle cannot exceed 90 degrees.</pre><p class="para_topic">Taper and miter angles must be between &ndash;90&deg; and +90&deg;.</p><pre class="indent">Tapers on flanges with no length are ignored.
Miters on flanges with no length are ignored.</pre><p class="para_topic">When a flange has a zero length, the web of the flange cannot be tapered or mitered.</p><pre class="indent">Included angles cannot exceed 360&deg;.
Included angles must be greater than zero.</pre><p class="para_topic">The included angle of the flange must be greater than 0&deg; and less than or equal to 360&deg;.</p><pre class="indent">Contour length cannot be specified with angles greater than 180.</pre><p class="para_topic">The contour length is measure from the theoretical intersection of the flange's web face and the plane perpendicular to the attachment face. When a flange's angle is 180&deg; or more, the theoretical intersection becomes infinite.</p><pre class="indent">Cannot access edge of edge reference.
Null or dead edge reference passed.</pre><p class="para_topic">These two messages usually indicate a serious problem with the flange feature. The flange references the edges that are used to infer the thickness and width. One of these edges can't be resolved anymore. It may be because the feature on which that edge exists is either suppressed or deleted.</p><pre class="indent">Flange: Created body failed to pass checks.
Flange: Created body list null or empty.
Flange: Created topology list null or empty.
Flange: Geometry failed checks.
Flange: Topology failed checks.</pre><p class="para_topic">These five messages indicate a serious error occurred while creating the tool body of the flange. Rarely, if ever, will you see these messages.</p><pre class="indent">Contour length is too small.</pre><p class="para_topic">When using the contour length, you must give a length large enough to include the bend area. If you would like a flange with a bend area and no web area, use the <b class="uiTerm">Tangent Length</b> option and enter zero for the length.
      </p><pre class="indent">Process factor generates self&ndash;intersection.</pre><p class="para_topic">Entering a <b class="uiTerm">Process Factor</b> while in <b class="uiTerm">Part In Process</b> that is too large will cause the flange to intersect itself.
      </p><pre class="indent">Process factor produces incorrect results.</pre><p class="para_topic">You will usually see this error message when editing an unformed flange. If you are getting this error message while editing, form the flange using the <b class="uiTerm">Form/Unform</b> operation, then edit the flange.
      </p><pre class="indent">Flange angle out of range for contour lines.
Flange angle out of range for mold lines.
Flange angle out of range for form block lines.</pre><p class="para_topic">You will get these messages while trying to add reference lines to a flange. Each type of reference line has a range of angles between which they can be created. These messages indicate that the flange is outside the range for the particular reference line. See the sections above on each type of reference line for their specific valid angle ranges.</p><pre class="indent">Flange Butt length must not be negative.</pre><p class="para_topic">When using <b class="uiTerm">Butt Joint</b>, the length you enter must be zero or a positive number.
