      <p class="para_topic">The <b class="uiTerm">Hole Type</b> option can be set to <b class="uiTerm">Punch</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Through</b>, or <b class="uiTerm">Depth</b>. The <b class="uiTerm">Punch</b> option will create a hole that is only through the thickness of the body. The body can be the body of a block or a sheet metal feature like <b class="uiTerm">Flange</b>.&nbsp;The <b class="uiTerm">Through</b> option will create a hole that goes through the thickness of two or more bodies such as two flanges. The <b class="uiTerm">Depth</b> option will create a hole at a specified depth into a body. The following figures show these three different <b class="uiTerm">Type</b> options.

            <p class="para_item">The figure below shows the use of the option type <b class="uiTerm">Punch</b>. The hole starts at the top face of the flange and stops at the thickness face of the flange.

            <p class="para_item">The figure below shows the use of the option type <b class="uiTerm">Through</b>. When two flanges overlap you must use the <b class="uiTerm">Through</b> option to create the hole on both flanges.&nbsp;If the <b class="uiTerm">Punch</b> type is used the hole will only create on one of the flanges. After creating this hole the <b class="uiTerm">Model Navigator</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Feature Tree</b> will show that two holes were created. When you edit one hole the other hole will also edit.
            </p>
