               <p class="para_td">The general flange is the most complex feature for which to define a state. &nbsp;The general flange uses five different methods to define a completely new shape for the feature. &nbsp;You can use this new shape to represent a complex die forming operation or hydroform operation. &nbsp;The five methods are: <b class="uiTerm">Parameters</b>,  <b class="uiTerm">Build to Sections</b>,  <b class="uiTerm">Build to Faces</b>,  <b class="uiTerm">Punch Vectors</b>, and  <b class="uiTerm">Surface Extensions</b>.

               <p class="para_td">You can change from one method to another simply by selecting the appropriate button at the top of the dialog box. The dialog boxes for these methods are nearly identical to those used to create and edit the general flange.</p>
