      </table><br><p class="para_topic">The selection step bitmaps allow the selection of: <b class="uiTerm">Base Face</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Base Clearance Points</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Reference Face</b>, and <b class="uiTerm">Reference Clearance Points</b>.

      <div class="title_division">Base face</div>

      <p class="para_division">The first selection step lets you pick the base face. The base face is a single face that is used in the construction of the bracket base pad. The base face must be planar. You may set the <b class="uiTerm">Filter</b> to allow the selection of a <b class="uiTerm">Plane</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Face</b>, or a <b class="uiTerm">Datum Plane</b>.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Base clearance points</div>

      <p class="para_division">The second selection step allows you to select clearance points on the base face. This step is optional. The system uses the <b class="uiTerm">Clearance Points</b> to define the outline of the base pad. There may be no more than two clearance points. Use the <b class="uiTerm">Filter</b> to allow the selection of existing <b class="uiTerm">Points</b>, an <b class="uiTerm">Edge</b>, a <b class="uiTerm">Curve</b>, or <b class="uiTerm">Arc Centers</b>.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">The selection of <b class="uiTerm">Points</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Arc Centers</b> causes the system to define a <b class="uiTerm">Clearance Circle</b> for each selection. If you select a curve, the system will construct a <b class="uiTerm">Clearance Circle</b> at each end point. The <b class="uiTerm">Clearance Distance</b> parameter defines the radius of these clearance circles. The system will construct the base pad outline such that it is tangent to the clearance circles.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">If you select an <b class="uiTerm">Edge</b> for this step, the base pad edge will coincide with the selected edge. No <b class="uiTerm">Clearance Circles</b> will be applied.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">If you don't select any geometry, the Pad Length parameter will define the base pad dimension.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Reference face</div>

      <p class="para_division">The third selection step lets you pick the <b class="uiTerm">Reference Face</b>. This face defines the mating surface for the bracket flange. The <b class="uiTerm">Reference Face</b> must intersect the plane of the base face. If the intersection between these faces is linear, a flange feature is constructed. If the intersection curve is nonlinear, a general flange feature is constructed. The initial bracket width is the length of the intersection curve.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">You may set the <b class="uiTerm">Filter</b> to allow the selection of a <b class="uiTerm">Plane</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Face</b>, or a <b class="uiTerm">Datum Plane</b>.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">The bend direction of the flange is determined from the pick point on the Reference Face. The Flange will always bend toward the pick point.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Reference clearance points</div>

      <p class="para_division">The fourth selection step allows you to select <b class="uiTerm">Clearance Points</b> on the reference face. This step is optional. The system uses the <b class="uiTerm">Clearance Points</b> to define the outline of the flange. There may be no more than two clearance points. Use the <b class="uiTerm">Filter</b> to allow the selection of existing <b class="uiTerm">Points</b>, an <b class="uiTerm">Edge</b>, a <b class="uiTerm">Curve</b>, or <b class="uiTerm">Arc Centers</b>.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">The selection of <b class="uiTerm">Points</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Arc Centers</b> causes the system to define a <b class="uiTerm">Clearance Circle</b> for each selection. If you select a curve, the system will construct a <b class="uiTerm">Clearance Circle</b> at each end point. The <b class="uiTerm">Clearance Distance</b> parameter defines the radius of these clearance circles. The system will construct the flange outline such that it is tangent to the clearance circles.

      <p class="para_division">If you select an <b class="uiTerm">Edge</b> for this step, the flange edge will coincide with the selected edge. No clearance circles will be applied.

      <p class="para_division">If you don't select any geometry, the <b class="uiTerm">Flange Length</b> parameter will define the flange contour length.
