      <p class="para_division">Editing a Sheet Metal feature uses the same dialog box as for creation. Corner can be edited no matter what state its parent and associate sides are in. You cannot change type of corner in <b class="uiTerm">Edit</b> mode.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Forming/unforming corners</div>
      <p class="para_division">You cannot form or unform the <b class="uiTerm">Corner</b> feature by itself. You can however, form and unform the self&ndash;forming features on which the corner feature has been created and the corner will follow them.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Error messages</div><pre class="indent">Corner cannot be created. Valid web side faces not present.</pre><p class="para_division">This message indicates that one of the sides between which a corner is to be created does not have a valid web side face. A valid web side face must be present for <b class="uiTerm">Butt</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Machinery</b> corner construction.
      </p><pre class="indent">Corner cannot be created. Common edge not found.</pre><p class="para_division">This message indicates that an edge common between the non&ndash;G1 bend side faces of the parent and associate sides, between which a corner is to be created, does not exist.</p><font class="codeExample_small"><pre class="indent">Corner cannot be created. &nbsp;Flange(s) has left side butt/taper/miters.
Corner cannot be created. &nbsp;Flange(s) has right side butt/taper/miters.
Corner cannot be created. &nbsp;Flange(s) has left side Butts.
Corner cannot be created. &nbsp;Flange(s) has right side Butts.
Corner cannot be created. &nbsp;Flange(s) has left side Miters.
Corner cannot be created. &nbsp;Flange(s) has right side Miters.
Corner cannot be created. &nbsp;Flange(s) has left side Bend Tapers.
Corner cannot be created. &nbsp;Flange(s) has right side Bend Tapers.
Corner cannot be created. &nbsp;Flange(s) has left side Web Tapers.
Corner cannot be created. &nbsp;Flange(s) has left side Relief.
Corner cannot be created. &nbsp;Flange(s) has right side Relief.</pre></font><p class="para_division">All the above messages indicate that the one of the sides, between which a corner to be created, is a flange and is created with different flange options. You need to remove these options before you can create a sheet metal corner on the selected flange.</p><font class="codeExample_small"><pre class="indent">Corner feature failed.</pre></font><p class="para_division">This message indicates that the one or both flanges have some features attached to it. You need to remove or suppress those features before you can add a corner between these two flanges. After you have added the corner, you can then reorder the features you suppressed so that they come after the corner feature.</p><font class="codeExample_small"><pre class="indent">Gap value cannot exceed the following value: Valid Gap Range.</pre></font><p class="para_division">The<b class="uiTerm"> Valid Gap Range</b> is a computed range. This message indicates that the value you entered in the dialog box for <b class="uiTerm">Gap</b> is not within the allowable valid range.
      </p><font class="codeExample_small"><pre class="indent">Negative Overlap value cannot exceed the following value: Maximum Value.</pre></font><p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">Maximum Value</b> is a computed value. This message indicates that the value you entered in the dialog box for <b class="uiTerm">Overlap</b> is exceeding the allowable value. The maximum value for a negative overlap is the computed length of the parent butt joint.
      </p><font class="codeExample_small"><pre class="indent">Bend angle for Butt/Machinery Corner should not be less than 0.5&deg;.
Bend angle for Butt/Machinery Corner should not be more than 180.0&deg;.</pre></font><p class="para_division">The absolute value of he bend angle of each side for butt and machinery corners should vary between 0.5 and 180&deg;.</p><font class="codeExample_small"><pre class="indent">Bend angle for Miter Corner should not be less than 0.005&deg;.
</pre></font><font class="codeExample_small"><pre class="indent">Bend angle for Simple Miter Corner should not be more than 180.0&deg;.</pre></font><p class="para_division">The absolute value of the bend angle of each side for <b class="uiTerm">Miter</b> corners should vary between 0.005 and 180&deg;.
      </p><font class="codeExample_small"><pre class="indent">Cannot create corner. Switch parents.</pre></font><p class="para_division">This message indicates that <b class="uiTerm">Butt</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Machinery</b> corner cannot be created with the selected pair of parent and associate sides. You need to switch the parent and the associate sides to create the corner feature.
      </p><font class="codeExample_small"><pre class="indent">Bend side faces must bend in the same direction</pre></font><font class="codeExample_small"><pre class="indent">for Machinery/Miter Corner creation.</pre></font><p class="para_division">This message indicates that the bend side faces of parent and associate sides on which you are attempting to create a <b class="uiTerm">Miter</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Machinery</b> corner are bending in opposite directions. They must bend in the same direction.
      </p><font class="codeExample_small"><pre class="indent">Cannot create corner. &nbsp;Parent feature is in intermediate state.</pre></font><p class="para_division">This message indicates that a self&ndash;forming feature (either a <b class="uiTerm">Flange</b> or a <b class="uiTerm">Bend</b>) on which a corner is to be created is in an intermediate state. This can happen when you use <b class="uiTerm">Part In Process</b> to create a state for a self&ndash;forming feature other than formed or unformed.
      </p>
