      <p class="para_division">The selection steps buttons allow the selection of:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Placement Face</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Application Curve</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Cylindrical Face</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Existing Edge</p>
         </li>
      </ul>

      <p class="para_division">To create an application curve bend, you must first select a placement face that is attached to the solid body you wish to create a Bend feature in. The placement face must have the following criteria:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The face must be planar.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The solid body under the face must be of uniform thickness in a direction opposite the placement face normal.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">When you select the placement face, the system will highlight the face upon which the bend will be built.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Application curve</div>

      <p class="para_division">To complete creation of a bend, you must then select an application curve. The application curve must have the following criteria:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The curve must be linear.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The curve must intersect the placement face when projected in a direction opposite the placement face normal.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The application curve can represent the bend axis, bend center line, bend tangent line, or contour / mold line.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">A cutout may be on the placement face before the bend is created provided the cutout only crosses one of the bend tangent edges when the bend is created. &nbsp;If the cutout is going to be entirely on the bend face or cross both bend tangent edges then the cutout must be constructed after the bend is created.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">You will input the bend direction, stationary side, bend radius, bend angle and BAF.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">When you select an application curve, a temporary display is created consisting of a line and two vectors. The line signifies the projection of the application curve onto the placement face. One of the vectors, labeled <b class="uiTerm">Stationary</b>, signifies the direction of the stationary side. The other vector, labeled <b class="uiTerm">Bend</b>, signifies the bend direction of the completed bend in the formed state. &nbsp;You may flip either of these vectors.
