      <p class="para_topic">You can create individual part files with <b class="uiTerm">Part&ndash;In&ndash;Process</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Part Families</b> that show a Sheet Metal model in its different states during the <b class="uiTerm">Forming Process</b>. &nbsp;The following steps will explain how to create the individual part files. &nbsp;Turn the <b class="uiTerm">Sequential Processing</b> option on (<b class="uiTerm">Preferences&rarr;Sheet Metal Design General</b>) for the following steps. Choosing this option will cause <b class="uiTerm">Part&ndash;In&ndash;Process (PIP)</b> states to execute in the sequence they appear in the <b class="uiTerm">PIP</b> tree list.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">In your <b class="uiTerm">PIP</b> tree list dialog box, with <b class="uiTerm">Sequential Processing</b> on, when you execute Group B, &nbsp;Group A will also execute. &nbsp;When <b class="uiTerm">Sequential Processing</b> if off and you execute Group B, only those flanges (parts) listed in the tree list under that Group will change.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">If the <b class="uiTerm">Sequential Processing</b> option is on, Groups and features are sequential within a process, but processes cannot be sequential.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">The following steps will show you how to create part files that can be used to create a process drawing of the forming of 4 flanges.</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Create a part file containing four flanges.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select <b class="uiTerm">Application&rarr;Sheet Metal&rarr;Forming/Flattening</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select <b class="uiTerm">Tools&rarr;Part in Process</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select <b class="uiTerm">Unform All</b> in <b class="uiTerm">Part Node</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Under the <b class="uiTerm">Sheet Metal Design Process Node</b> create 4 new groups.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Rename the groups to Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3 and Stage 4. (Slowly double&ndash;click the group name to rename.)</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Add FLANGE (1) to Stage 1 with a process angle of 90&deg;.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Add FLANGE (2) to Stage 2 with a process angle of 90&deg;.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Add FLANGE (3) to Stage 3 with a process angle of 90&deg;.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Add FLANGE (4) to Stage 4 with a process angle of 90&deg;.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the <b class="uiTerm">Unform All</b> in <b class="uiTerm">Part Node</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Selection <b class="uiTerm">Application&rarr;Modeling&rarr;Tools&rarr;Part Families</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Change the <b class="uiTerm">Available Columns</b> type from <b class="uiTerm">Expressions</b> to <b class="uiTerm">Attributes</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Add PIPNAV_GROUP attribute to the <b class="uiTerm">Chosen Columns</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Set the <b class="uiTerm">Family Save Directory</b> to a directory/folder of your choice.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select <b class="uiTerm">Create</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Part_Name should be in cell A1 and PIPNAV_GROUP should be in cell B1.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the cells A2&ndash;A5 under PART_NAME type in: state1, stage2, stage3, and formed respectively. &nbsp;(These will be the parts created by Part Families and will represent the different states of the model during the Forming process.)</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the PIPNAV_NAME column type in under <b class="uiTerm">Unform</b>: Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, and Stage 4. (The names in this column must match the names of the groups you created while in <b class="uiTerm">Part&ndash;In&ndash;Process</b>. &nbsp;NX created the unform group by default.)
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Now select rows 2&ndash;6.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select <b class="uiTerm">Part Family&rarr;Create Parts</b></p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the <b class="uiTerm">Family Save Directory</b>, there should be the five part files with the names of blank, stage1, stage2, stage3, and formed step. &nbsp;You can now make an assembly drawing that will represent a <b class="uiTerm">Process Drawing</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
