      </table><br><p class="para_topic">For each standard, the interface to the standards file allows for the following return types from a query (ask_std) function:</p>

            <p class="para_item">List of values</p>
         </li>

      <div class="title_division">Single value</div>
      <p class="para_division">A single value is a simple string that cannot contain embedded white spaces. When a single value returns from the standards file, this value is placed in the list that is displayed to you.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The keyword of this return type is value: and the box following the keyword may not have embedded whitespaces.</p>

      <p class="para_division">A list of values is a string containing one or more single values. When a list of values returns from the standards file, each element on the list is presented to you.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The keyword of this return type is vallist: and the box following the keyword is individual single values separated by white spaces. The values may not have embedded white spaces.</p>
