      </table><br><pre class="indent">Unable to find the attributes of the SMHole.</pre><p class="para_topic">This error is returned from thehHole's Open C and C++ API routine UF_MODL_ask_smhole. You'll get this error if the routine is unable to find the parameter data for the <b class="uiTerm">Hole</b> feature about which you are asking. This could mean that the tag given to the routine is invalid or does not point to a Sheet Metal <b class="uiTerm">Hole</b> feature.
      </p><pre class="indent">Invalid Hole type.</pre><p class="para_topic">This error is returned from the Hole's Open C and C++ API routines UF_MODL_create_smhole and UF_MODL_edit_smhole. You'll get this error if you have supplied these routines with a <b class="uiTerm">Hole</b> type that is not <b class="uiTerm">Punch</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Through</b>, or <b class="uiTerm">Depth</b>.
      </p><pre class="indent">Invalid Hole direction method.</pre><p class="para_topic">This error is returned from the hole's Open C and C++ API routines UF_MODL_create_smhole and UF_MODL_edit_smhole. You'll get this error if you have supplied these routines with a <b class="uiTerm">Hole</b> direction method that is not <b class="uiTerm">Face Normal</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Along Vector</b>, or <b class="uiTerm">Along Datum Axis</b>.
      </p><pre class="indent">Could not compute origin.</pre><p class="para_topic">This error is returned from the hole's Open C and C++ API routines UF_MODL_create_smhole and UF_MODL_edit_smhole. You'll get this error if the offset edges you have supplied for the hole do not intersect using the offset distances.</p><pre class="indent">Unable to build sheet body.</pre><p class="para_topic">When the Hole is created on a non&ndash;planar face or when the model is in a state other than that in which the hole was created, it builds a sheet body. This error means that it was unable to build that sheet body between the top and bottom edges of the hole. It can also mean that the sheet body failed to pass a Parasolid body check. You can look at the NX log file to see if there is a more detailed error message(s) recorded.</p><pre class="indent">Unable to build solid body.</pre><p class="para_topic">This message means that there was a serious error encountered while trying to build the solid tool body of the hole. Usually, this means that the tool body failed to pass a Parasolid body check. Rarely, if ever, will you see this message.</p><pre class="indent">Unable to infer the thickness of the material.</pre><p class="para_topic">The target solid body must be of uniform thickness. This message will also be displayed if the hole found a hole in a side face. A hole in a side face makes the material thickness different from the hole's perspective.</p><pre class="indent">Referenced face tag is no longer valid.</pre><p class="para_topic">This usually indicates a more serious problem with the hole feature. The hole references the placement face, any top face adjacent to the placement face that the hole touches and any bottom face that the bottom of the hole touches. One of these faces can't be resolved anymore.</p><pre class="indent">Referenced edge tag is no longer valid.</pre><p class="para_topic">This usually indicates a more serious problem with the Hole feature. The hole references the two offset edges when the <b class="uiTerm">Edge Offsets</b> method is used. One of these edges can't be resolved anymore.
      </p><pre class="indent">Unable to copy of SMHole feature.</pre><p class="para_topic">You will only get this message if there was a serious problem trying to copy a hole using <b class="uiTerm">Edit&rarr;Copy</b> feature. You will rarely see this message.
