      <p class="para_topic">Use the <b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b> feature when you want to create a sheet metal feature that inherits the shape from the punch type tool body.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">You can access the <b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b> dialog box from <b class="uiTerm">Modeling&rarr;Insert&rarr;Sheet Metal Feature&rarr;Solid Punch</b> or from the <b class="uiTerm">Sheet Metal Feature</b> . To edit a Sheet Metal <b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b>, use <b class="uiTerm">Modeling&rarr;Edit&rarr;Feature</b> or the <b class="uiTerm">Edit Feature</b>.

      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b> is created for a die or punch type tool body. Refer to Example 1 and Example 2 for a Punch and a Die type tool bodies.

               <p class="para_td">This face belongs to a body of uniform thickness into which the <b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b> feature will be created. This face is one of the faces that will be first touched by the tool body during a normal punching operation.
