      <p class="para_topic"><b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b> allows the tool body to represent the die versus the punch.&nbsp;This tool body must have a void between the tool and target bodies where the punch could not have a void. The figure below shows a tool body with a void.

            <p class="para_item">The steps for creating a solid punch die type are very similar to the steps for the punch type. The difference is when creating the die the tool body does not have to touch the target face. When creating the punch type the tool body must touch the target face. The following steps will show you how to make a solid punch die type.</p>
            <ul>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Select the target face. The target face for the die type is the face that the punch will hit first.</p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Select the tool body. The tool body is a body that represents the die shape. See the figure below for more details.</p>
               </li>

            <p class="para_item">The tool body is in the proper location, which is the preferred method, and there are no pierce faces. Accept until the solid punch creates.&nbsp;The constructed solid punch should look like the illustration below.</p>
