      </table><br><div class="title_division">Add tangent edges</div>
      <p class="para_division">When in the <b class="uiTerm">Bend String</b> selection step, the <b class="uiTerm">Add Tangent Edges</b> option enables. If you set this option, the system will automatically select all edges that are tangent to your current selections. The system will maintain this setting so that you can reevaluate the set of tangent edges whenever the model updates.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Thickness</div>
      <p class="para_division">If you have selected bend edges from a solid body, the system will produce a general flange with the given thickness.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If you turn on <b class="uiTerm">Infer Thickness</b> (on the <b class="uiTerm">Options</b> dialog box), the system will build the general flange using a thickness derived from the target geometry. The thickness will be associative to the target geometry &ndash; if the thickness of the target body changes, the general flange thickness will automatically change. Note that the system assumes uniform thickness.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">You can control the thickness of the general flange by turning off the <b class="uiTerm">Infer Thickness</b> option (on the <b class="uiTerm">Options</b> dialog box) and entering a valid expression into the <b class="uiTerm">Thickness</b> box. This option is only available if <b class="uiTerm">Infer Thickness</b> is off. The default thickness is the inferred material thickness. You cannot enter a negative thickness. If you specify a thickness for the general flange, the system will create an expression to maintain that value.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">If the thickness is greater than any bend outer radius, the general flange will not thicken. A warning will appear and the feature will be created as a sheet body.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If you have <b class="uiTerm">Preferences</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Sheet Metal</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Use Feature Standards</b> turned on, the <img align="bottom" src="graphics/image336.gif" border="0"> button will give you a list of standard acceptable values.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">The system infers the thickness direction from the target faces. The system will always thicken the general flange such that the attachment face of the general flange aligns with the faces adjacent to the target faces.</p>
