      </table><br><p class="para_topic">All <b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b> follow the same basic procedure:
      </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a type (<b class="uiTerm">Punch</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Die</b>).
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a target face from the target body.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a tool body.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a CSYS/point to define the FROM location and a CSYS/point to define a TO location. This is optional if the tool body intersects with the target body. This is required if the tool does not intersect with the target body.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Optionally, select the pierce faces from the tool body.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Enter thickness value if the option is set to <b class="uiTerm">Use Expression</b> in the <b class="uiTerm">Options</b> dialog box.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the option to hide the tool body.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select options such as <b class="uiTerm">Thickness</b> option, <b class="uiTerm">Create Auto Centroid</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Die Blend</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Constant Thickness</b>, and <b class="uiTerm">Global Parameters</b>. Enter for outer radius, inner radius, if necessary.

         </li>

      <div class="title_division">Selection steps</div>
      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b> dialog box includes selection steps.       <div class="title_division">Geometry selection</div>
      <p class="para_division">The selection steps buttons allow the selection of:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Target face</b></p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Tool Body</b> 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Transformation</b></p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Pierce Faces</b></p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Target face</div>

      <p class="para_division">To create a solid punch, you must first select a face onto which the tool body will be punched. The placement face must have the following criteria:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The solid body under the face must be of uniform thickness in a direction opposite the placement face normal.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">When you select the <b class="uiTerm">Target Face</b>, the system will highlight the face upon which the <b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b> will be built.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Tool body</div>

      <p class="para_division">To complete creation of a <b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b>, you must then select a tool body which will punched onto the target face.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">When you select the tool body, the system will highlight the tool body.</p>
      <p class="para_division">You can only select a solid tool body. Only one tool body can be selected. If a new body is selected the old body will be deselected. The tool body needs to be placed on the target body at the desired location and depth. This placement can be performed before creating the <b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b> or by using <b class="uiTerm">Transformation</b>.
      </p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">We recommend that the <b class="uiTerm">Tool Body</b> used to construct the <b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b> be on a separate layer. When you create the solid punch the tool body will still be visible in the part file. There is an option to hide the <b class="uiTerm">Tool Body</b> upon creation.

                  <p class="para_note_body">If you wish to use the same tool body to create multiple solid punches, we recommend creating a UDF of the tool body. If you move the tool body after the solid punch creates, the solid punch will move.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Transformation</div>

      <p class="para_division">Select this button when you want to transform a copy of the tool body to a desired location. This is mandatory if the tool body does not intersect with the target body. The original tool body will not be changed in any way. The copied tool body will not be saved.</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">A CSYS or a point can be selected to define a FROM location and a TO location. Combination of a CSYS and a point is not allowed.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you have already placed the tool body at the desired location with respect to the target body this operation does not need to be performed. If the tool body is not at the desired location then <b class="uiTerm">Transformation</b> is required.

         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Pierce faces</div>

      <p class="para_division">Select this button when you want to have some of the faces on the tool body not thickened. For example, the openings of a louver could be created using pierce faces.</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">This option will be available only after selecting the tool body. You can select the face(s) to be pierced from the solid tool body. You can define pierce faces on the tool body. Use this option when the resultant solid punch is <b class="uiTerm">Lance</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
