      </table><br><p class="para_topic">When you select <b class="uiTerm">Tools&rarr;Flat Pattern</b> you will see the <b class="uiTerm">Flat Pattern</b> dialog box. The following is a brief description of the <b class="uiTerm">Flat Pattern</b> options:
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Name</div>
      <p class="para_division">Enter the name of the generated flat pattern or accept the default name. You can specify the default name in <b class="uiTerm">Preferences</b>. If you are creating multiple flat patterns, each flat pattern must have a unique name. This box is only available when creating a new flat pattern.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Layer</div>
      <p class="para_division">Enter the target layer for the generated flat pattern or accept the default layer. Make the chosen layer selectable after the flat pattern creates. This box is only available when creating a new flat pattern.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">This layer only applies to the flat pattern that generates and does not change the current work layer. You can specify the default layer in <b class="uiTerm">Preferences</b>.

      <div class="title_division">Traverse body</div>
      <p class="para_division">This option is available if a flat pattern exists for the current body. With this button you can traverse the body to find all faces on the same side of the body as the starting face. This is useful if you have <b class="uiTerm">Automatic Update</b> turned off, and you added features to the body that need flattening.&nbsp;
