      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Switch the display to <b class="uiTerm">Active</b> (on) or <b class="uiTerm">Inactive</b> (off) to control whether the standards are checked, when you select either <b class="uiTerm">OK</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Apply</b> on the sheet metal feature <b class="uiTerm">Create</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Edit Parameter</b> dialog boxes. A <b class="uiTerm">Warning</b> dialog box appears if any parameters appear that do not match these standards. This dialog box lists the nonstandard parameters and gives you the choice to continue to create the feature or go back to the <b class="uiTerm">Feature Parameter</b> dialog box. 
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Enforce creation state editing</div>
      <p class="para_division">You cannot edit a Sheet Metal Hole or Slot feature if this option is <b class="uiTerm">Active</b> (on) unless the model is already in the same state as it was at the time when the hole or slot created.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">Switch this option to <b class="uiTerm">Inactive</b> (off) and you can edit Sheet Metal holes and slots when the model is in a state other than the state it was in when the hole or slot created. However, the hole or slot creation&ndash;state will change to the current state of the model.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Forming method</div>
      <p class="para_division">This option allows you to control how new <b class="uiTerm">Straight Brake</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b> features are formed and unformed. The option can be set to <b class="uiTerm">Use Self&ndash;Forming Features</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Use Forming Operators</b>. &nbsp;
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">If the option <b class="uiTerm">Use Forming Operations</b> is checked, <b class="uiTerm">Straight Brake</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b> features you create will not be listed in the <b class="uiTerm">Form/Unform</b> dialog box. The way to get these features to <b class="uiTerm">Form</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Unform</b> is to create <b class="uiTerm">Unbend</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Rebend</b> features on their cylindrical faces. If the option <b class="uiTerm">Use Self&ndash;Forming Features</b> is checked, <b class="uiTerm">Straight Brake</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b> features you create will be listed in the <b class="uiTerm">Form/Unform</b> dialog box.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">You can change the forming method for existing <b class="uiTerm">Straight Brake</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Solid Punch</b> features at any time by using the <b class="uiTerm">Make Self&ndash;Forming Feature</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Make Non&ndash;Self&ndash;Forming Feature</b>. &nbsp;Use the right&ndash;click menu options in the <b class="uiTerm">Model Navigator</b>.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Sequential processing</div>
      <p class="para_division">Switch the display to <b class="uiTerm">Active</b> (on) or <b class="uiTerm">Inactive</b> (off) to control the processing of groups or items in <b class="uiTerm">Part in Process</b>. &nbsp;If it is processed sequentially then the selected item and everything above it in the tree list will be formed. &nbsp;Non&ndash;sequential will only form the selected object
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Bracket margin</div>
      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">Sheet Metal Bracket</b> utility uses the <b class="uiTerm">Bracket Margin</b>. During construction of a bracket, the system creates a base pad that trims to the proper size. The original base pad is size is based on an intersection curve and the clearance distance dimension. The <b class="uiTerm">Bracket Margin</b> value is a percentage that increases these dimensions. It only affects the size of the original base pad and not the final bracket. You should increase this margin if the <b class="uiTerm">Bracket</b> outline curves do not lie entirely on the base pad.
