      <p class="para_topic">This feature lets you create a bridge between a base and target. The <b class="uiTerm">Bridge</b> feature is different from the <b class="uiTerm">General Flange</b>. You can create a bridge as a transition between two bodies as opposed to only an extension from a single body.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">You can access the <b class="uiTerm">Bridge</b> dialog box from <b class="uiTerm">Modeling&rarr;Insert&rarr;Sheet Metal Feature&rarr;Bridge</b> or from the <b class="uiTerm">Sheet Metal Feature</b>. To edit a <b class="uiTerm">Bridge</b>, use <b class="uiTerm">Modeling&rarr;Edit&rarr;Feature</b> or the <b class="uiTerm">Edit Feature</b> .
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">You can use the <b class="uiTerm">Bridge</b> feature to create single and double bend surfaces between a base and a target. During creation, the bridge is constrained at the base and target profiles. The bridge behaves like the general flange unforming as an extension from the base profile. You can use <b class="uiTerm">Bridge</b> in conjunction with <b class="uiTerm">General Flange</b> to design addenda and binders. <b class="uiTerm">Bridge</b> supports the following construction types:
      </p>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Tangent at Target</b> &ndash; You can use this construction type to create the bridge when base faces/edges have been selected along with either target faces or target faces/edges.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Intersect Angle at Target</b> &ndash; You can use this construction type to create the bridge when base faces/edges have been selected along with either target edges/curves or target faces/edges.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Z&ndash;Bend</b> &ndash; You can use this construction type to create the bridge when base faces/edges have been selected along with any combination of target faces/edges.
            </p>

In addition, the base profile selection is restricted to the edges that define the peripheral boundaries of the selected base faces.

      <p class="para_division">The steps for creating the <b class="uiTerm">Bridge</b> are:
      </p>

            <p class="para_item">Specify base faces (such as G1&ndash;continuous faces). This selection step is required.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Specify the base profile (such as G1&ndash;continuous edges). This selection step is required.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Specify the target faces (such as G1&ndash;continuous faces). This selection step is optional.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Specify the target profile (such as G1&ndash;continuous edges or curves). This selection step is optional.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Specify the construction type (such as <b class="uiTerm">Tangent at Target</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Intersect Angle at Target</b>, or <b class="uiTerm">Z&ndash;Bend</b>) if applicable.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Specify the construction parameter values where applicable.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Specify the distortion method parameters to be used for subsequent forming/unforming processes.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Specify a unite option and choose <b class="uiTerm">Apply</b> to create the <b class="uiTerm">Bridge</b> feature.
            </p>
