      <p class="para_topic">Use <b class="uiTerm">Create Linear Path</b> to create paths consisting of lines possibly connected by bend corners, or elbow fitting parts. Constraints will automatically add to the newly created geometry based on a user preference. When creating a path you should define the initial start of the path, and the end points for each segment in the path. The end point of the previous segment in the path is the start point for the next segment in the path.

      <p class="para_topic">You can access the <b class="uiTerm">Create Linear Path</b> dialog box from <b class="uiTerm">Insert&rarr;Routing Mechanical (or Electrical)&rarr;Create Linear Path</b>.

      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">Create Linear Path</b> dialog box allows you to define Routing Control Points (RCPs). If you define a control point that is on top of an existing segment, that segment is subdivided and the new control point is a shared end point of the subdivided segment and the new segment.
